BROUGH TAKES OFF FOR HUMBER BUSINESS WEEK
East Riding of Yorkshire Council will host an event at Brough Business Centre on Thursday, 5 June, as part of Humber Business Week, to provide businesses with the opportunity to see what the Humber Enterprise Park has to offer.
The event, which runs from 10am-1.30pm, will include talks from three stakeholders of the park, a tour of the site, at 11am, followed by a networking buffet lunch.
Presentations will be delivered by BAE Systems, who are still a major employer and contributor to the Humber economy, Ian Hodges of the Horncastle Group who will give an overview of the Brough South development and Ben Medhurst of PPH who will discuss the site itself.
Councillor Jane Evison, cabinet portfolio holder for economy, investment and inequalities at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: “Inward investment plays an important role in providing economic growth and encouraging new businesses to the area of allowing smaller businesses to expand helps support jobs and provide opportunities for local people.
“This event provides an ideal platform for those considering relocating to East Yorkshire or those looking to grow to see what type of accommodation the site has to offer.
“The Humber Enterprise Park is located within the Humber Enterprise Zone which offers a variety of incentives, including fast-track planning, enhanced capital allowances and property tax breaks, to support businesses.”
