Learning at your own pace
A lot of computer help is aimed at people who are already fairly confident. This isn’t that. Sessions start from wherever you actually are, whether that’s your first time turning a laptop on or you’ve been getting by for years but want to finally understand what you’re doing.
We go at your speed, repeat things as many times as you need, and write down steps in plain English so you have something to refer back to afterwards.

At home or in the workshop
Most people prefer to learn on their own device, in their own home, which is why home visits are available — including evening appointments for anyone whose day is taken up with work or caring for someone else. If you’d rather bring your device to us, that works too. Either way, there’s no pressure and no rushing.

Do I need any computer experience before booking a lesson?
No. Sessions are built around wherever you’re starting from, including complete beginners who have never used a computer, tablet or smartphone before.
Can lessons take place at my home?
Yes. Many people prefer to learn on their own device in their own home, which also avoids the need to travel. Evening appointments are available too.
Do you only teach computers, or tablets and phones as well?
All of them. Whatever device you actually use day to day is what we’ll work on, whether that’s a Windows laptop, an iPad, or a smartphone.
Is there a minimum number of sessions?
No. Some people just need help with one specific thing, others prefer a series of sessions to build confidence gradually. Get in touch and we’ll talk through what would suit you.
