Lost files, a dead laptop or a drive that won’t show up? Most data can be recovered. Simple cases are handled locally from £80; clicking or damaged drives go to a Western Digital Platinum lab partner. Either way, you deal with Daniel.

Questions
How much does data recovery cost?
Local logical recovery is £80–£140 plus parts. Mechanical cases go to Lazarus Data Recovery: £140 Standard, £270 Advanced, £370 Advanced Plus (up to 3TB), £470 Advanced Plus HC (over 3TB), including VAT.
Is data recovery no fix, no fee?
Yes. If your data can’t be recovered you don’t pay for the attempt. For lab cases only return carriage may apply.
My drive is clicking. What should I do?
Switch it off and don’t power it on again. Clicking means mechanical failure, which needs cleanroom conditions at the lab.
Do I have to bring the drive to you?
You can drop off at North Cave, use free collection within 5 miles, or book a home visit. Lab cases can also be collected by DPD through Lazarus (£19 in, £10 out).
How long does it take?
Simple logical recoveries are often done in 24–48 hours; lab cases usually 3–7 days. You get a realistic timeframe first.
