Why this matters
Switching a device off and putting it in a drawer, selling it on, or taking it to be recycled doesn’t automatically get rid of what’s stored on it. Old phones, laptops and hard drives can hold years of photos, documents, saved passwords and account logins — a factory reset or a simple delete often isn’t enough to remove that data for good.

Depending on the device and what you’d prefer, we either securely wipe the storage so nothing on it can be recovered, or physically destroy the drive itself. Either way, the outcome is the same: your data is gone for good before the device leaves our hands.
If there’s a chance you still need something off the device first, get in touch before disposal — that’s a job for data recovery, not disposal, and it’s much easier to sort beforehand.

You’re welcome to, but a factory reset alone doesn’t always fully remove data from a drive. If you’d rather be certain, we can handle it properly.
Can I bring in just one old laptop, or does it need to be a bulk job?
Either. This applies just as much to a single old phone or laptop as it does to clearing out several devices at once.
